CALL FOR SPECIAL ISSUE 2025

The Editors of the European Review of International Studies (3 issues a year published by Brill) invite submissions either from individuals or from teams of scholars for the publication of a special issue of the journal in 2025.

The special issue shall be 3/2025, published in Autumn 2025.

We are open to all imaginative proposals but particularly welcome those from younger European scholars in line with ERIS’s mission to support international studies in Europe. Although any subject area within International Relations is eligible, we wish to encourage work on aspects of the following themes:

  • democracy and international politics;
  • the international politics of migration and diaspora;
  • contesting strategies against the West;
  • international public policies.

A 3 to 4 pages’ proposal can be sent to the editors by email at the latest by 15 October 2024. It must contain four elements: (1) a general presentation of the topic; (2) a provisional list of contributions and contributors; (3) data on the timeframe; (4) CVs of the guest editor(s).
